Led by Prof. Ana Vieira (IST/CEGIST) and counting with the participation of Hugo Plácido da Silva, Invited Professor in the Department of Bioengineeing (DBE) and Senior Researcher at Instituto de Telecomunicações (IT), the first edition of the Start to Spark entrepreneurship challenge at Técnico is on mission to ignite creativity, inspire collaboration, and empower students with an entrepreneurship skill set. Organized into multidisciplinary teams, students will develop an impactful idea (in healthcare, life sciences, well-being, environment, among others) and follow practical activities organized in stages - from ideation, to prototyping and pitching.
