Autonomous Sections of NEBIST:
Biomedical Engineering Students Group (NEBM-IST)
The Biomedical Engineering Students Group of Instituto Superior Técnico was created in 2004 by the founding members. It arose from the needs felt by students to, on the one hand, make known to high school students, other universities and the business world, the role and capabilities of a Biomedical Engineer, and on the other hand, to promote the union between Biomedical Engineering students.
The NEBM-IST is divided into six different sections that work together to develop activities with educational, recreational, sports and dissemination interest.
