Involvement of the cerebellum in structural connectivity enhancement in episodic migraine

Migraine is one of the most prevalent neurological disorders in the world, however, it is still poorly understood. This work, carried out by DBE researchers and published in the Journal of Headache and Pain, explores the biomarkers of migraine through the use of diffusion MRI and connectomics. Increased efficiency was found as well as a distinct involvement of the cerebellum in the pathophysiology of this disorder. See more.
