DBE Researchers Collaborate in Hands-On Open-Source MRI Workshop

Prof. Rita G. Nunes and Dr. Andreia Gaspar participated in an Open-Source MRI Sequence Programming Workshop held from 24–26 September. Organized by Prof. Jessica Bastiaansen and team members of the Quantitative MR Imaging Science Lab (QIS) at the Translational Imaging Center in Bern, Switzerland, the event gathered researchers working with open-source MRI tools.
During the workshop, Prof. Nunes and Dr. Gaspar shared their experience using Pulseq to develop MRI sequences, highlighting their Open-MOLLI project. The event also offered the opportunity to learn about the latest Pulseq features directly from its developers, Prof. Maxim Zaitsev and PhD student Mojtaba Shafiekhani, and to exchange insights with fellow participants involved in Pulseq-based MRI programming projects.
