Tiago T. Fernandes, a Biomedical Engineering PhD student at DBE and Prof. Rita G. Nunes presented their work on the optimization of quantitative MRI for knee cartilage characterization at the 2nd Workshop on Accessible MRI, receiving an award for the best poster presentation. The meeting was held in Delhi, India and was organized by the International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM). The workshop focuses on strategies for enabling a wider access to MRI technology, particularly in low- and middle-income countries (LMIC).
