Professor Pedro Fonte's Group Presents Groundbreaking Findings at CiiEM Congress

Professor Pedro Fonte's group made significant contributions at the 6th International Congress of the Egas Moniz Center for Interdisciplinary Research, focused on "Immediate and future challenges to foster One Health," held from July 5th to 7th.

Ana Patrício, a master's student, delivered an impactful oral presentation on "Microfluidic fabrication of cell-loaded delivery systems for regenerative medicine applications." Claudia Viegas, a PhD student, presented her research on "Optimization of Inhalable mPEG-PLGA Nanoparticles for Antibody Encapsulation as a Platform for Lung Cancer Treatment." Additionally, Professor Pedro Brandão showcased his expertise through a poster titled "PLGA Nanoparticles Encapsulated with Balsam Poplar Buds Aqueous Extract for Potential Ocular Delivery."
