The VI Bioengineering Week (VI SBE) of Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) will take place between March 8 and 12, 2021 in a remote format. The event is organized by the students of the courses of Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, Microbiology and Bioengineering and Nanosystems at IST and will include cycles of lectures, workshops, pitches, Job Fair and Alumni Sessions.
The SBE organization would like to invite you to participate in the event and attend our activities that are always followed by challenges (SBE challenges). Lectures and pitches do not require prior registration and are a good opportunity to get in touch with great scientists and bioengineering companies. The remaining activities require prior registration in our app "SBE Semana da Bioengenharia" where you can access more detailed information about the event.
This year several topics will be discussed throughout the week such as Environment, Health, Cell Biology, Pharmaceutical and Food Industries, Stem Cells, Biomedicine in Space, Bioethics, Bioinformatics, Clinical Engineering, Regenerative Medicine, Tissue Engineering and Nanotechnology.
