Biomind - Make it in 24h! is a competition created by the Núcleo de Engenharia Biomédica (NEBM) from Instituto Superior Técnico (http://nebm.tecnico.ulisboa.pt/index.php), which challenges students with an arising problem in the field of healthcare, bringing Biomedical Engineering students from all over the country to propose solutions, that could be introduced to the market.This third edition, made in partnership with Glintt Inov, gathered 20 different teams, in a total of 80 students, who, throughout the past weekend, put their best effort to solve the challenge: “How can technology prescription help in disease prevention, recovery and treatment?”. Furthermore, each team had the opportunity to meet three different professionals of the healthcare field, who mentored them to improve their solutions. The winners were selected by an outstanding judge panel. The teams highlighted on this competition were:
