The X Week of Bioengineering (X SBE), will take place from February 17 to 21 , 2025, is the tenth edition of an interdisciplinary event that aims to bring the academic community closer to the business and scientific worlds, promoting the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of advancements in bioengineering.

During the event, students, academics, companies and start-ups will have the opportunity to interact and collaborate in a dynamic and innovative environment.

The programme includes a series of lectures by expert speakers, interactive workshops, a debate, and alumni sessions, as well as a Job Fair. In this fair, companies will have the chance to showcase themselves at stands, deliver pitches, and strengthen their connection with the student community.

With the participation of students from the Biomedical Engineering and Biological Engineering undergraduate programmes, as well as several Master’s programmes, the SBE aims to promote meaningful connections, foster the development of ideas, and contribute to the advancement of bioengineering in Portugal and worldwide.
