The Department of Bioengineering (DBE) at IST, in collaboration with the Biological Engineering and Biomedical Engineering Centers, will hold the “DBE Open Labs 2026” from April 20 to 24, 2026, an initiative aimed at high school students. Approximately 500 students are expected to participate. The initiative will give high school students the opportunity to interact with researchers, attend lectures, and participate in small-scale experimental demonstrations in the scientific fields of Biological Sciences, Bioengineering, and Biomechanics.
