Invited Oral Communication at IDS12 by Prof. Vasco Bonifácio
Prof. Vasco Bonifácio (DBE) participated in 12th International Dendrimer Symposium (IDS12), organized under the 11th International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies (ICMAT23). The conference took place in Singapore, from 26 to 30 June 2023. The International Dendrimer Symposium has been running biennially for the last 22 years and will cover the advances in dendrimers, hyperbranched polymers, and related materials covering therapeutics, nanomedicine, syntheses, composites, and newly developed dendrimer rotaxanes, joining the world experts in the field of dendrimers chemistry.
The invited oral communication “Polyurea biodendrimers:A rodmap to sustainable nanotherapeutics” presented the latest research on polyurea dendrimers for Nanomedicine developed at iBB/IST. In the last day, Prof. Vasco Bonifácio visited the Department of Materials Science & Engineering of the Nanyang Technological University (NTU, Singapore) to discuss future work under a collaboration that will investigate the use of polyurea dendrimers in novel biomedical applications.
