We are excited to share the highlights from the General Assembly of the DIG4BIO (Digitalization for Biomanufacturing) project, held on July 1st, 2024, at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon. This pivotal meeting brought together leaders and key contributors from our consortium, reinforcing our collaborative spirit and shared vision.
Project Overview: DIG4BIO seeks to transform the field of biomanufacturing by leveraging digital technologies to boost efficiency, lower costs, and achieve precise quality control in producing biopharmaceuticals and advanced therapies. Supported by the European Union, this Twining initiative aims to enhance IST’s research capabilities and reputation in digital biomanufacturing, while also improving research management and administrative skills through strategic partnerships with DTU and TUB.
