The 3rd DIG4BIO General Assembly successfully marked the completion of the project's second year!

Partners from Instituto Superior Técnico (IST), IST-ID, DTU and TU Berlin came together to review the achievements of the first 24 months, discuss progress across all work packages, and define the roadmap for the final year of the project.
Over the past two years, the consortium has made significant progress across all work packages, including:
- Delivering an extensive programme of workshops, training schools and staff exchanges to strengthen capacity in digital biomanufacturing and research management.
- Advancing the development of a digital framework for plasmid DNA biomanufacturing, integrating modelling, experimental work and digital tools.
- Expanding our network through stakeholder engagement, clustering activities and the development of the Digital Biomanufacturing Roadmap.
- Increasing the project's visibility through scientific publications, conference participation, outreach activities, the project website and a growing LinkedIn community.
- Maintaining strong project coordination while successfully delivering key milestones and project outputs.
Looking ahead, the consortium discussed the ambitious plans for the final year of DIG4BIO, including the publication of the Digital Biomanufacturing Roadmap and White Paper, new educational resources, enhanced dissemination activities, and the organisation of the project's final stakeholder events.
A heartfelt thank you to all our partners for their dedication, collaboration and enthusiasm. Together, we are strengthening European excellence in digital biomanufacturing and building a more connected and innovative research ecosystem.
